Early Childhood

St. Josaphat School’s early childhood classes provide our youngest students with developmentally appropriate opportunities to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills. The day is structured around a routine that encourages students to learn and explore in both large and small group settings. Each classroom is led by a full-time teacher and teacher’s aide. We focus on positive discipline techniques, creating structure and clear expectations in the classroom. Our program values parental involvement and support, inviting parents into read to the class, volunteer for class events, and chaperoning field trips.
