Celebrate Catholic Schools Week 1/27

TOEvery year, Catholic schools across the nation participate in a celebration of Catholic education.  St. Josaphat School proudly looks forward to joining in that celebration, which will take place the week of Sunday, January 27th through Friday, February 1st.  As a school community, we recognize the importance of building a faith-filled community marked by our Catholic identity. Catholic Schools Week is also a time for us to reflect on and share the ways in which we provide an excellent education for our students.

This year’s theme of Catholic Schools Week is “Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.”  Throughout the week, we will focus on how St. Josaphat School provides rigorous and engaging learning opportunities, how our students serve the local and even larger community, how our students develop and share their leadership talents, and how our students demonstrate success.  During this week, we also recognize the important contributions of members of our school community. Some highlights include:

  • Sunday, January 27th: Open house in the school from 9-11:30 AM
  • Tuesday, January 29th: Geography Bee for students in grades 4-8
  • Tuesday, January 29th: Career Day
  • Wednesday, January 30th: Way to Go Wednesday in the gym at 7:55 AM (rather than Faith-Filled Friday)
  • Friday, February 1st: Teacher and staff appreciation brunch
