Dear St Josaphat Families,
For those of you who are new to our school, you are coming to an absolutely wonderful place. This will be my second year at St. Josaphat, and I could not be more excited to see everyone back in our classrooms, halls, and church.
Fr. Francis Bitterman and I work together to ensure our students’ academic, social, and spiritual needs are met. Fr. Francis enjoys visiting the students at school. He is present in the classrooms as he partners with the teachers and students in preparing for our weekly masses, sacraments, and celebrations.
Our teachers and staff are an amazing group of professional educators who are constantly learning how to improve their practice. We are a collaborative and driven team who strive to support and challenge our students, so they may reach their highest potential.
I look forward to our continued partnership, so that we can ensure a productive, faith-filled educational experience for our students. I believe that strong relationships between home and school are key to increasing student achievement and that parental involvement is an essential component to student success. My door is always open, and I welcome your input.
I will continue to keep you informed of all that is taking place at school and in our community. Up-to-date information will be sent to you though my Principal Newsletter, which is emailed to parents at the end of the day each Friday. My letter will also be posted on our school web page.
Here’s to an AWESOME new school year! I look forward to working together as we continue to make our school one in which excellence happens on purpose!
Mrs. Nel Mullens,
St. Josaphat School
