At St. Josaphat School, we strive to build a rich learning community that enlightens our students’ spiritual development and empowers them to grow and excel intellectually and emotionally.
As principal, it is my pleasure to welcome you to St. Josaphat School. Educating students since 1884, St. Josaphat School is a vital part of the Lincoln Park neighborhood. We provide an outstanding education for students in PreK-3 through eighth grade.
We believe that we are made for one another. Our patron saint, St. Josaphat, was known for his efforts to build community, and we follow his example as we create a warm and welcoming community at St. Josaphat School. We know that our students can do their best when all members of the school community contribute to their learning. With the help of faculty, staff, classmates, and parents, St. Josaphat students grow in knowledge and understanding.
We believe that excellence happens on purpose, and we take pride in our academic excellence. St. Josaphat School is a two-time National Blue Ribbon Award winner. Our faculty invests a great deal of thought and time into planning lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting student growth. As a result of our faculty's efforts, our students are equipped with the skills and mindsets to be life-long learners, effective communicators, and thoughtful problem solvers.
Our Catholic identity informs all that we do. Through religion classes, weekly Mass, service projects, sacramental preparation, and daily prayer, our students learn about the Catholic faith and incorporate Gospel values into everyday life.
Thank you for considering St. Josaphat School for your child. We invite you to visit our school and experience our community.
