Visiting Teams

St. Josaphat School is located at 2245 N. Southport Avenue - just south of Fullerton. The first visiting team to play is welcome to enter the gym no more than 30 minutes before their match or game time. Gym Entrance and Parking - The gym entrance is at the corner of Belden and Southport. Street parking available or you may park in the church parking lot. To access the parking lot from Southport go east on Belden and take the first L (north) onto Wayne. The lot entrance is several yards up. 

 

Sportsmanlike conduct is required from all players, fans and visitors. If the appointed St. Josaphat representative finds a person to be unsportsmanlike or not abiding by the rules listed below, he/she may be asked to leave the premises.

 

• No wet shoes are allowed on the gym floor (coaches or players)

• Are welcome to congregate in the lower level of the school near the restrooms for pregame and postgame meetings

• Are not allowed in the P.E. office/equipment room without permission from the St. Josaphat Home Game Manager

• No gum chewing allowed on the court

• No beverages of any kind are allowed on the court at anytime

 

• Are welcome to sit in the north side seating or on the stage when the curtains are open. Spectators are not allowed on the south side of the gym during warm-ups or games (where teams sit)

• All children entering the gym under the age of 15 must be in the care of a responsible adult at all times

• Children under the age of 7 must be in the company of an adult at all times

• Visitors are not allowed in the P.E. office/equipment room

• Are not allowed to sit on stage pads or hang legs off the edge of the stage

• Jumping off of or climbing onto the stage is not allowed! Enter and exit the stage via the north and south stairwells

• No balls other than game balls are allowed in the gym during warm-ups and athletic events and no balls allowed on the stage
